Here at Dentists on Dunbar, our approach to welcoming new patients is unique and customized.
The first appointment will take approximately one hour and a half. We first review your dental and medical histories. We discuss any concerns you may have regarding your oral health. A comprehensive examination is done including assessment for TMJ and related muscle issues, bite evaluation, oral cancer screen, thorough periodontal or gum evaluation and of course a detailed evaluation of the teeth. Necessary digital x-rays and photographs are taken along with a 3D Scan to complete the appointment.
At a follow up consultation appointment all pertinent information gathered will be explained to you and any questions you may have can be addressed. Information will be provided to you outlining treatment plan options as well as a cost estimate. This will be an in person consult or a phone appointment with the appropriate dentist.
