Common dental emergencies we treat.
Tooth pain or swelling.
A throbbing tooth or swollen jaw can point to an infection or injury. We’ll assess the problem right away to relieve your pain and keep it from getting worse.
Chipped or broken teeth.
Whether it happens during a fall or a meal, cracks can show up when you least expect them. Treating them early gives us the best chance of a straightforward fix.
Knocked-out teeth.
Time is critical if a tooth has been knocked out. Try to gently reposition it in the socket or place it in milk, and come to us right away.
Lost crowns or fillings.
If a crown or filling comes loose, keep it somewhere safe. A little toothpaste or dental wax can hold things temporarily – but we’ll need to take a proper look.
Bleeding or soft tissue injuries.
Injuries to your tongue, cheek, or gums can bleed heavily. We’ll clean the area, control the bleeding, and check for any underlying damage.

What to expect at your emergency appointment
Payment and insurance.
Every patient deserves prompt attention – especially in an urgent situation.
Canadian Dental Care Plan.
Depending on your circumstances, emergency visits may be covered under the CDCP. We’ll explain what applies to your situation and help with the paperwork.
Insurance-friendly.
Our clinics accept most dental insurance plans and can offer direct billing, so there are no surprises when it comes to coverage.
Flexible payments.
Dental emergencies are unplanned – and so are the costs that come with them. If your visit isn’t covered, we’ll talk through financing options to help ease the financial pressure.
Options for kids and seniors.
Some clinics offer reduced rates for children and older adults. If this is relevant to you, we’ll check what’s available and let you know.
